(1) Controls Cabinet Fan Locations

There are three fans that are mounted in the lower metal plenum in the Controls Cabinet.

Removal

1. Perform steps in the Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, "Internal Component Preremoval Steps (Controls Cabinet)" in order to de-energize the system and gain access to internal components.

2. Disconnect the two wire harnesses that lead into the fan housing.

   The wire harnesses locations are labeled. Verify the labeling.

3. Remove the four bolts, one at each corner of the fan housing, that hold the fan assembly in the cabinet. Use a 76 mm (3/8 inch) socket.

4. Remove the fan assembly from the cabinet.

.Controls Cabinet Fan Positioning

1. Position the fan assembly into the cabinet. The cables coming out of the fan assembly should be positioned as in Illustration 2.

2. Attach the fan assembly to the cabinet with four bolts, one at each corner of the fan housing. Use a 76 mm (3/8 inch) socket.

3. Connect the two wire harnesses to the cabinet wiring according to the labeling.

   Refer to Illustration 3.
