- 拆下螺栓 (1) 。 将工具 (A) 插入曲轴中。 将螺栓 (1) 和板 (2) 从适配器总成 (3) 上拆下。

- 将适配器总成 (3) 从飞轮壳上拆下。
- 必要时，利用手锤和冲头将轮毂 (5) 从适配器总成 (3) 上拆下。
注: 适配器总成 (3) 的重量大约为 10 kg (21 lb)。

- 将齿圈 (4) 加热到 316 °C (600 °F) 的最高温度。 将齿圈 (4) 安装到适配器总成 (3) 上。

注: 安装齿圈 (4) 的时候必须让轮齿斜面一侧朝上。 适配器总成 (3) 安装后，轮齿斜面一侧应面向起动马达。
- 将轮毂 (5) 装入适配器总成 (3) 。
- 将工具 (A) 安装在曲轴中。
注: 适配器总成 (3) 的重量大约为 10 kg (21 lb)。

- 将适配器总成 (3) 定位到曲轴上。
- 将工具 (B) 涂抹在螺栓 (1) 的螺纹上。
- 安装板 (2) 和螺栓 (1) 。 拆下工具 (A) 。 安装螺栓 (1) 来代替工具 (A) 。
- 拧紧螺栓 (1) 至扭矩为 120 ± 20 N·m (89 ± 15 lb ft)。
