Description of Change: A new margin relief valve for the 963D Track-Type Loader is now used. The new design of the new relief valve is now a one piece adapter. The new design of the valve will help to eliminate leaks. The new valve also has a type of orifice that is screwed into the valve body instead of a type of orifice that is pressed into the valve body. The new orifice helps to prevent the pump from going to full stroke during the start-up of the machine.

Adaptable To: The new 339-3214 Relief Valve Gp is a direct replacement for the old 306-8042 Relief Valve Gp or the old 322-5500 Relief Valve Gp .

Torque for the new relief valve ... 47.5 ± 2.7 N·m (35 ± 2 lb ft)

The new relief valve is effective with the following machines:

• 963D (S/N: LCS1-1043)
