A Guard Is Now Available For the Alternator {1405, 7168}

A guard is now available for the alternator on all D6RSeries III machines. The guard will help prevent the 197-8820 Alternator Gp from contamination that could eventually cause the alternator to fail.
You must order the parts that are listed in Table 1 in order to install the new guard on your machine.

Follow the procedure that is shown below in order to install the guard on the alternator.
- Remove three bolts (5) from rear bracket (8) on alternator (6) .

- Install alternator guard (1) to the back of alternator (6) .
