Ripper Carriage (Beam) - Remove and Install

Start By:
- Remove the ripper cylinder. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Ripper Lift Cylinder - Remove and Install".
- Lower ripper carriage (1) onto Tooling (A). Attach a suitable lifting device to ripper carriage (1). The weight of ripper carriage (1) is approximately 469 kg (1035 lb).

- Remove pin (2) .

- Repeat Step 2 for the other side.
- Secure link assemblies (3) .

- Use a suitable lifting device to position ripper carriage (1) for installation. The weight of ripper carriage (1) is approximately 469 kg (1035 lb).

- Position ripper carriage (1) onto Tooling (A) .
- Install pins (4) .

- Repeat Step 3 for the other side.
- Loosen link assemblies (3) for installation onto the ripper carriage.

- Raise ripper carriage (1) and remove Tooling (A). Lower ripper carriage (1) .
