Installation Procedure

1. Attach Tooling (B) onto engine (14). Attach Tooling (A) onto Tooling (B). The weight of engine (14) is approximately 1361 kg (3000 lb).

2. Install engine (14). Install bolts (15). Repeat for the opposite side.

3. Install bolts (12) and (13) into generator (10).

4. Install screen assembly (11) onto generator (10).
   Show/hide table

5. Remove the suitable cribbing from underneath generator (10).

6. Connect harness assemblies (8) onto alternator (9).

7. Connect harness assembly (6) onto electronic control module (7).

8. Connect hose assembly (5).

9. Connect harness assembly (1), cable assemblies (2), and harness assembly (3) onto electric starting motor (4).

End By:

1. Install the fan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan - Remove and Install".

2. Install the cooling package. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cooling System Package (Radiator, Aftercooler, Fuel Cooler) - Install".
