Cedera atau bahkan kematian dapat terjadi akibat tidak terpasangnya rem parkir. Apabila rem parkir tidak terpasang, alat berat dapat meluncur saat petugas berada pada atau di dekat alat berat. Pasang selalu rem parkir sebelum meninggalkan alat berat. |

Jangan mengaktifkan rem parkir saat alat berat bergerak kecuali rem parkir tidak berfungsi. Kerusakan pada rem parkir dapat terjadi. |
- Hentikan alat berat pada permukaan yang rata.
- Lepas pedal throttle (2). Tekan pedal rem servis (1) untuk menghentikan alat berat.

- Setelah alat berat berhenti, pindahkan kontrol transmisi (4) ke posisi NETRAL.

- Gerakkan kontrol rem parkir (3) ke posisi ON untuk mengaktifkan rem parkir.
Catatan: Jangan gunakan retarder sebagai rem parkir.
