Oil Filter and Base (Power Train) - Disassemble

Usage:

D7R II ABJ

Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the Power Train oil filter. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Power Train Oil Filter - Remove and Install".

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

    ------ WARNING! ------

    Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.

    Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.

    Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.


  1. Remove filter housing (8) and O-ring seal (7). Remove filter element (4).

  2. Remove switch (1) and adapter (5). Remove spool (2) and springs (6) and (3).
