The instrument cluster continuously monitors the numerous machine systems. The alert indicators show any abnormal condition of the machine.

Warning Categories
The instrument cluster provides three warning categories for the operator. Each warning category is a different level of severity and each warning category requires different actions by the operator.
Warning Category 1
A Warning Category 1 requires only operator awareness. When a Warning Category 1 occurs, the instrument cluster causes an alert indicator to turn on.
For the hydraulic system and the steering system, no Warning Category 1 exists for this machine.
Warning Category 2
A Warning Category 2 needs operator response. When a Warning Category 2 occurs, the instrument cluster causes one or more indicators to turn on. A Warning Category 2 will also cause action light (1) to turn on.
For the hydraulic system and the steering system, a Warning Category 2 occurs when the hydraulic oil temperature reaches an excessive level in the hydraulic system. A change in the machine operation is required in order to reduce the excessive temperature.
Hydraulic oil temperature gauge (4) indicates the temperature of the hydraulic oil. If the needle is in the red zone, the hydraulic oil temperature is excessive. Reduce the load on the hydraulic system.
Note: If the needle remains in the red zone and the action light continues to flash, stop the machine and investigate the cause of the problem. DO NOT operate the machine until the cause of the problem has been fixed.
Warning Category 3
A Warning Category 3 requires immediate shutdown of machine systems. When a Warning Category 3 occurs, the instrument cluster causes one or more alert indicators to turn on. The instrument cluster also causes action light (1) to flash. The action alarm also sounds.
For the hydraulic system and the steering system, a Warning Category 3 occurs when the pressure in the steering system is low. This causes primary steering malfunction indicator (3) for the steering system to turn on. The secondary steering should be automatically activated. If alert indicator (3) flashes during operation, stop the machine immediately and engage the parking brake. Stop the engine and investigate the cause of the fault. Do not operate the machine until the fault has been corrected.
A Warning Category 3 will also occur when the secondary steering is activated. This will cause secondary steering indicator (2) to turn on. Steer the machine immediately to a convenient location and stop the machine. Stop the engine and investigate the cause of the failure. Do not operate the machine until the cause of the failure has been corrected.
When a Warning Category 3 occurs during machine operation, stop the machine immediately and engage the parking brake. Stop the engine. Investigate the cause of the warning before returning the machine to service.
Note: DO NOT operate the machine until the cause of the warning has been corrected.
