Abrasion Resistant Hoses Are Now Available for Wheel Skidders {5057, 6307}

- 535B (S/N: AAE1-UP)
- 545 (S/N: 2FZ1-UP)
Description of Change: Abrasion resistant hoses are now available for the boom and the arch on Wheel Skidders. A hose guard can also be used to prevent rubbing. Installation of these hoses and this guard will extend service life of the hoses.
Adaptable To: The change is adaptable to the grapple frame on the following Wheel Skidders:

- 535B AAE589-872
- 545 2FZ407-581
- 525B 3KZ1962-UP
- 535B AAE873-UP
- 545 2FZ582-UP

Simple round stock can be welded into the frame in order to create the guard. Round stock should be 12.7 mm (0.5 inch) in diameter and 165.1 mm (6.5 inch) in length.
