Drive Shaft (Rear) - Remove and Install

Usage:

AD30 CXR

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect"

------ WARNING! ------

Personal injury can result from driveline torque windup under load.

Unequal wheel speed can result in driveline torque windup which can cause driveline components to be under load during disassembly.

Relieve the driveline torque windup before disassembly.

  1. Park the machine on a flat, level surface. Place wheel blocks in front of the wheels and behind the wheels.

  2. Release the parking brake.

  3. Release the driveline torque windup by raising either side of the machine until the wheels are off the ground. Lower the wheels back to the ground.

  4. Engage the parking brake.
