- D11N (S/N: 4HK1-UP; 74Z1-UP)
- D11R (S/N: AAF1-UP; 8ZR1-UP; 9TR1-UP; 9XR1-UP; 7PZ1-UP)
Description of Change: A new air cleaner group is now used on D11R Track-Type Tractors. This air cleaner group will provide increased hours between intervals for changing the element. Also, this new element has common usage with former D10R S/N:3KR
Track-Type Tractors. As a result, operating costs will be reduced.
Adaptable To: The new air cleaner group is effective with D11R (S/N: AAF202; 7PZ669, 671-673, 675 and 681) Track-Type Tractors.
The new air cleaner group is adaptable to the following Track-Type Tractors:
- D11R (S/N: AAF1-201; 7PZ1-668, 670, 674, 676-680; 8ZR1-UP; 9TR1-UP; 9XR1-UP)
- D11N (S/N: 74Z1-UP; 4HK1-UP)
Engine Enclosure Doors
If your machine is currently equipped with engine enclosure doors, you will need to replace the doors or you will need to rework the doors in order to provide the required clearance for the new canisters. Remove the existing doors. Install the new doors by using the existing hardware. See Illustration 1 for the required parts.

At the discretion of the dealer and/or customer, the former engine enclosure doors may be reworked in order to provide the required clearance for the new air cleaner group.
Note: It is very important for all maintenance personnel to be aware of the new longer elements that are being used after this conversion. The air cleaner elements must be replaced by the new longer elements in order to prevent engine damage.
