In the past, the Service Information System (SIS) did not contain tables for the flash files for the Wheel Skidders and the Wheel Feller Bunchers. There have been several changes to the Wheel Skidders and Wheel Feller Bunchers. Some of these changes could cause confusion on the correct software to be used on the models that are listed above.
The Wheel Skidders now use a new version of the Caterpillar Monitoring System which is programmable unlike the previous version of the Caterpillar Monitoring System that was used in the machines.
The new version of the Caterpillar Monitoring System is effective with the 525B S/N:3KZ796 and 875-UP Wheel Skidder, the 535B S/N:AAE583-UP Wheel Skidder, and the 545 S/N:2FZ433 and 438-UP Wheel Skidder. The new version of the Caterpillar Monitoring System is not adaptable to earlier models.
The new version of the Caterpillar Monitoring System was effective with the first production of the 533 S/N:CDR, 543 S/N:ASJ, TK370 S/N:WBD and TK380 S/N:WBE Wheel Feller Bunchers.

The labels are effective with the 525B S/N:3KZ1094-UP, 535B S/N:AAE627-UP, 545 S/N:2FZ444-UP, TK370 S/N:WBD138-UP and TK380 S/N:WBE170-UP. The software part numbers will be updated in SIS. A label will be placed in the cab that contains the software part numbers when the machine is built.
