Conditions Which Generate This Code:
There may be a software fault in the software of the power train control processor (PCP). The PCP has an internal error.
Test Step 1. TEST FOR VALID SOFTWARE.
- Ensure that the keyswitch is ON.
- Reflash the current version of the software for the PCP.
Expected Result:
The diagnostic code is not active.
Results:
- OK - The diagnostic code is not active.
STOP
- NOT OK - The diagnostic code is still active.
Repair: Temporarily replace the PCP and retest.
