Factory Installed Options

Usage:

SR4 5HW

Air Filter System

The air filter system option consists of air inlet filters with washable filter elements and a differential air pressure switch. This option is recommended for dusty environments and abrasive environments.

Thermostat

The optional thermostat is for automatic control of the space heater for the generator winding.

Differential Current Transformer (DCT)

The differential current transformer option consists of six current transformers that are wired for differential protection. Three of the transformers are mounted in the terminal box of the generator and three of the transformers are shipped loose.

Cross Current Compensation Current Transformer (CCCT)

The CCCT consists of one current transformer that is installed on the phase B lead in the generator terminal box.

Note: The CCCT is standard on the 2500 and 2900 frame SR4 HV generators. The CCCT is optional on the 2400, 2600 and 2800 frame SR4B HV generators.

SR4 HV Generators

Standard Configuration of the Terminal Box

The standard terminal box configuration is Right Hand Side Facing Exciter End (RHSFEE) with bottom cable entry.

Optional Terminal Box Configurations

The optional terminal box configuration is Left Hand Side Facing Exciter End (LHSFEE) with bottom cable entry.

SR4B HV Generators

Standard Terminal Box Configuration

The standard terminal box configuration is Right Hand Side Facing Exciter End (RHSFEE) with bottom cable entry.

Optional Terminal Box Configurations

  • Left Hand Side Facing Exciter End (LHSFEE) with bottom cable entry

  • Right Hand Side Facing Exciter End (RHSFEE) with top cable entry

  • Left Hand Side Facing Exciter End (LHSFEE) with top cable entry

  • Six lead, six terminal configuration: Three phase leads on the Right Hand Side Facing Exciter End (RHSFEE), three neutral leads on the Left Hand Side Facing Exciter End (LHSFEE) with bottom cable entry.

  • Six lead, six terminal configuration: Three phase leads on the Left Hand Side Facing Exciter End (LHSFEE), three neutral leads on the Right Hand Side Facing Exciter End (RHSFEE) with bottom cable entry.

  • Six lead, six terminal configuration: Three phase leads on the Right Hand Side Facing Exciter End (RHSFEE), three neutral leads on the Left Hand Side Facing Exciter End (LHSFEE) with top cable entry.

  • Six lead, six terminal configuration: Three phase leads on the Left Hand Side Facing Exciter End (LHSFEE), three neutral leads on the Right Hand Side Facing Exciter End (RHSFEE) with top cable entry.
