1. Ensure that the O-ring seals are installed in valve body (48) .

2. Put valve body (48) in position on valve body (50) and install the five bolts.

3. Install O-ring seals (52) on valve assembly (46) .

4. Install valve assembly (46), O-ring seal (51), and plug (53) in valve body (48), as shown.

5. Install valve stem (43), spring (44), O-ring seal (53), and plug (47) in valve body (48), as shown.

6. Install valve (54), valve (56), spacer (55), spring (40), and spring (41) in valve body (48), as shown.

7. Install the O-ring seals on seat (38) and seat (39) .

8. Install the seats in body (37) .

9. Ensure that spring (40) and spring (41) are in the correct position.

10. Install the O-ring seals in body (37) .

11. Install body (37) on valve body (48) .

12. Install O-ring seal (33) in the groove on screw (34) .

13. Install screw (34) in plug (31) .

14. Install nut (36) on screw (34) .

15. Install pin (35) in screw (35) .

16. Install nut (32) on nut (36) .

17. Install valve (57), rod (58), spring (59), shims (60), O-ring seal (61), and plug (62) in body (37) .

19. Install valves (67), springs (68), the O-ring seals, and plugs (66) in each side of the valve body.

20. Install the O-ring seals on plugs (27) .

21. Install valves (69), spring (70), and plugs (27) in both sides of valve body (50) .

22. Install valve stem (71) in the valve body.

23. Install spring (72) and spring (26) in each end of valve stem (71) .

24. Install O-ring seals (74) in covers (24) .

25. Install covers (24) on each side of the valve body over valve stem (73) and plugs (27) .

26. Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound on the threads of bolt (75) .

27. Install bolt (75) in the end of valve stem (78) .

28. Install retainer (76) and spring (77) over bolt (75) .

29. Compress spring (77) and install retainers (79) in the groove of bolt (75) .

30. Release the tension on spring (77) until the spring holds retainers (79) in position.

31. Install valve stem (80) in the valve body.

32. Install the O-ring seal in housing (11) and install the housing on the valve body.

33. Install a ball (12), seat (13), spring (14), the O-ring seal, and plug (16) in each side of housing (11) .

34. Use Tooling (A) in order to install the shaft bearing in lever housing (1) .

    Note: Ensure that the closed end of the bearing is even with the surface of lever housing (1) after installation.

35. Use Tooling (A) in order to install the bearing and the seal in lever housing (1) .

    Note: Ensure that the lip of the seal is toward the inside of the housing, as shown.

36. Install the key for lever (6) in shaft (5) .

37. Put lever (6) in position in lever housing (1), as shown.

38. Install shaft (5) .

39. Tighten the bolt in order to hold lever (6) on shaft (5) .

40. Install gasket (81) and cover (4) on lever housing (1) .

41. Ensure that the key for lever (2) is installed in shaft (5) .

42. Install lever (2) on shaft (5) and tighten the bolt.

43. Install O-ring seal (82) in lever housing (1) .

44. Install lever housing (1) on the valve body.

45. Ensure that lever (6) is engaged correctly with valve stem (83) before the bolts are tightened.

End By: Install the main control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Main Control Valve - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
