C9 Marine Auxiliary and Marine Generator Set Engines Caterpillar

The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects all of the following conditions:

• Engine speed is greater than zero rpm.

• No diagnostics for +5 V sensor supply are active.

• No diagnostic codes for the injection actuation pressure are active.

• No injection actuation outputs are active.

• Cold mode is not active.

• Actual injection actuation pressure is above 26.5 MPa (3850 psi) for at least six seconds or injection actuation pressure is consistently under the acceptable low value.

System Response:

The ECM will log the diagnostic code. The engine will revert to a default torque map.
