Pump Drive - Disassemble
Disassembly Procedure

Start By:
- Remove the pump drive. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Pump Drive - Remove" for the correct procedure to remove the pump drive.
- Remove bolts (1) and the washers in order to separate housing assembly (2) .

- Install Tooling (A) and lift the top part of the housing assembly.

- Install Tooling (B). Use a strap and a suitable lifting device in order to remove the top of housing assembly (2). Remove Tooling (A) .
- Use Tooling (C) in order to remove three retaining rings (3) .

- Use Tooling (E) in order to remove lip seal (4) from ring (5) .

- Use Tooling (D) to remove outer bearing (6) from the top part of housing assembly (2) .

- Use Tooling (D) to remove the outer bearing on the other end of the housing assembly. Use Tooling (D) in order to remove ring (5) and outer bearing (6) from the housing assembly.

- Mark the location of the gears. Remove gears (7) from the bottom half of the housing assembly.

- Remove bearing inner race (8) on both sides of the gears.
Note: The bearing inner race will be damaged during removal.

- Use Tooling (E) in order to remove three outer bearings (9) from the lower half of the housing assembly.

- Remove bolt (10), the washer and clip (11) from the inside of the lower housing assembly.

- Remove breather (12), if necessary.

- Remove transmission temperature sensor (13) .

- Remove plug (14) and the O-ring seal from the lower half of housing assembly (2) .
- Turn the housing assembly to the other side of the housing assembly. Use Tooling (E) in order to remove lip seal (15) .
