The monitoring system will perform an automatic self test during start-up. When start switch key (6) is turned to the ON position, the test will proceed. The self test will verify that the main display modules are operating properly.
The test will continue for six seconds. During the test, the following actions will take place:
Note: During the same six seconds, all of the following tests are performed.
- Action lamp (4) will illuminate.
- The action alarm will sound once.
- All alert indicators (5) will flash.
- The alert indicators on main display module (2) will flash.
- The digital readout of speedometer/tachometer module (3) will illuminate for two seconds and the needle will sweep from left to right.
- The digital display window of main display module (2) will illuminate for two seconds.
- The needles of quad gauge (1) will sweep left to right.

During the same six seconds, all of the following tests are performed on the scraper.
- Action lamp (8) will illuminate.
- The alert indicators on main display module (7) will flash.
- The digital display window of main display module (7) will illuminate for two seconds.
If the tests are completed correctly, turn the engine start switch key in order to start the engine.
If the above tests are not completed correctly, the monitoring system will not go into the operating mode. Before you start the engine, check the electrical system in order to make the necessary repairs.
