3512 Generator Set Engines (1500 And 1800 RPM) Must Use Flywheel Balance Weights{1156}

Usage:

The linear vibration that is present on 3512 Generator Set Engines (1500 and 1800 rpm) makes it necessary to use flywheel weights on the flywheel to reduce this vibration. When these 3512 Engines are equipped with a generator at the factory, these flywheel weights are installed before shipment. When a 3512 Generator Set Engine is sent from the factory without a generator, these flywheel weights are not installed on the flywheel, and they must be added.

There are three different flywheel weight groups that are used on these engines. See the chart that follows for the components of each weight group that are used with each generator arrangement.
