613C Series II Wheel Tractor-Scraper Steering System Caterpillar

This test is designed to tell if the secondary steering pump is operating within the design parameters.

Perform this test on a hydraulic test bench. Prior to the test, the hydraulic oil must be at 65° ± 2°C (149° ± 4°F). Refer to Table 1 for more information.

If the amount of oil leakage is greater than the amount that is specified in Table 1, the pump is worn.
