Electronic Control Module (Power Train) - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect" for the machine that is being serviced.
- Disconnect the battery power in order to prevent damage to the module.
- Remove four bolts (2) and the washers.

- Remove plate (1) .
- Remove four bolts (3) and the washers.

- Remove plate (4) .
- Remove two bolts (5) and the washers.

- Remove three bolts (6) and the washers.
- Remove two bolts (8) and the washers under the cab.

- Remove plate (7) .
- Remove nut (9) and the washer in order to disconnect ground strap (12) .

- Loosen two bolts (10) and disconnect two connectors (14) from the power train Electronic Control Module (ECM) (11) .
- Remove four bolts (13) and the washers.
- Remove power train ECM (11) .
Installation Procedure
- Install the power train Electronic Control Module (ECM) (11) under the cab.

- Install four bolts (13) and the washers.
- Connect two connectors (14) to power train ECM (11). Tighten two bolts (10) .
- Connect ground strap (12) .
- Install nut (9) and the washer.
- Install plate (7) .

- Install two bolts (8) and the washers under the cab.
- Install three bolts (6) and the washers.

- Install plate (4) .
