NOTICE |
---|
Do not engage the differential lock with one wheel spinning. Reduce engine rpm, until the wheel stops spinning, before depressing the differential lock pedal. |

(2) Differential lock solenoid valve |
Personal injury or death can result from limited steering control. Engaging the differential lock when the machine is moving can limit steering control. Do not engage differential lock when machine is moving at high speed because steering control will be limited. |
The differential lock is electric over air. The electric switch (1) is located near the base of the steering column. The air solenoid valve is located on the rear of the differential.
The air pressure will force piston (5) to the right. This will move jaw (4) against jaw (6) . When the pedal is released, the supply passage is closed. This allows air that is between the air solenoid valve and the quick release valve to flow through the exhaust passage. Air pressure inside the cylinder will exit through the quick release valve.
