Assembly Procedure

Note: Thoroughly clean all parts of the quick-drop valve prior to assembly. Inspect all parts of the quick-drop valve. If any parts of the quick-drop valve are damaged, use new parts for replacement. Lubricate all mating parts and the O-ring seals with clean hydraulic oil.

1. Carefully install spring (7) and plunger (6) in valve body (5).

2. Install O-ring seals (11) and (12) in manifold (10).

3. Install manifold (10) on valve body (5). Install bolts (8) and (9). The torque for the bolts is 105 ± 20 N·m (75 ± 15 lb ft).

4. Carefully install spool (4) in valve body (5).

5. Install O-ring seal (1) in cover (3).

6. Install cover (3) and bolts (2) on valve body (5). The torque for the bolts is 105 ± 20 N·m (75 ± 15 lb ft).

End By:

1. Install the quick-drop valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Quick-Drop Valve - Install".
