SUBJECT: ENGINE OIL DIPSTICK MAY NOT BE THE CORRECT LENGTH
PROBLEM: There have been reports of the 107-2178 oil level gauge being too short. The engine oil may be overfilled if the oil level gauge is too short. Excessive engine oil may blow out of the engine breather if the system is overfilled.
SOLUTION:
Compare the length of your oil level gauge with the measurements in Figure 1. The 107-2178 oil level gauge should be replaced with a new part from Morton if it is not the correct length.
