Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Position the gaskets and cooler bonnet (1) on the transmission oil cooler and the cylinder block. Install bolts (2) .

- Install bolts (3) .
- Install the O-ring seal on cooler bonnet (1). Apply Tooling (A) to the O-ring seal.
- Install O-ring seals (9) in oil filter base (10). Slide engine oil cooler (4) onto the cooler bonnet. Rotate the engine oil cooler into position on the oil filter base.
- Install bolts (8) .
- Install the O-ring seal on bonnet (7). Apply Tooling (A) to the O-ring seal. Install the integral gasket and the bonnet on the water pump.
- Install bolts (6) .
- Connect hose assembly (5) .
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".
