Usage:
3208 Truck Engines
It has become necessary to change the prefix of the serial number for 3208 Truck Engines from 32Y to 51Z. Serial numbers with the 32Y prefix have come to 32Y99999.
Serial numbers with the 51Z prefix are not shown on the cover of any Parts Books. To order parts for engines with a 51Z serial number, use the latest Parts Books for the engines with 32Y serial number prefix. The form numbers for these Parts Books are SEBP1307, SEBP1308, SEBP1309, SEBP1310 and SEBP1311. Arrangement numbers for these engines did not change with the new 51Z serial number prefix.
Microfiche for the above parts books will soon have the 51Z serial number prefix added. The paper Parts Books will have the 51Z serial number prefix added when they are revised.
