Instructions for 1U-6431 Piston Ring Groove Gauge | |
The engine has steel pistons with a top ring groove that is a keystone type. Use the 1U-6431 Piston Ring Groove Gauge to check the top ring groove. Refer to Illustration 1 for instructions that relate to the use of the piston ring groove gauge. The intermediate piston ring groove is rectangular in shape. Use the 5P-3519 Piston Ring Groove Gauge Gp to check the intermediate ring groove.
