Expansion Tank Changed To Permit Installation Of Water Level Gauge{1354,7470}

Usage:

3408 And 3412 Industrial And Marine Engines

Description of Change: A change has been made to the expansion tank assembly used on 3408 and 3412 Industrial and Marine Engines in marine applications. A hole has been added to the existing bracket, and a second bracket has been added to the right side of the tank assembly to permit installation of a water level gauge.

Adaptable To: All earlier engines so equipped. The part number of the 6N668 Expansion Tank Assembly did not change. If desired, a similar improvement can be made to earlier tank assemblies as shown in the illustrations. It will be necessary to fabricate a bracket for this purpose, as shown. This modification will permit installation of an 8N8272 Water Level Gauge Group (available only as separate parts - see Column Three of the Numerical Parts Record).
