Track Rollers

Usage:

D3C and D4C; (Single and Double Flange)

(1) Diameter of the shaft ... 50.47 ± 0.03 mm (1.987 ± .001 in)

(2) Put .25 liter (1/2 pint) of SAE 30W oil in roller.

(3) Clearance between shaft and bearing (new) ... 0.36 ± 0.10 mm (.014 ± .004 in)

(4) Torque for the bolts ... 135 ± 15 N·m (100 ± 11 lb ft)

NOTE: Rubber torics and all surfaces contacting them must be clean and dry at assembly. Apply a thin film of oil to contacting surfaces of the metal seal rings just prior to assembly. Seal rings must be assembled square with the bore and the torics and must not be bulged or twisted. Put lubricant on all other seals at assembly.

Torque for the bolts that hold the rollers to the track roller frame ... 270 ± 25 N·m (200 ± 18 lb ft)

End play (clearance) of new roller shaft:

Minimum ... 0.25 mm (.010 in)

Maximum ... 0.85 mm (.033 in)

(1) Diameter of new roller tread ... 175.0 mm (6.88 in)

Roller tread diameter at 100% worn ... 149.5 mm (5.88 in)

(2) Torque for bolts ... 55 ± 10 N·m (40 ± 7 lb ft)
