(1) Both seals in the cage must be installed as shown.

(2) Torque for eight bolts that hold the spider assemblies to the yokes and shaft ... 34 ± 4 N·m (25 ± 3 lb ft)

(3) Torque for nut ... 108 ± 7 N·m (80 ± 5 lb ft)

NOTE: Do not use lockwashers on the bolts that hold spider assemblies.

D5C

(1) Both seals in the cage must be installed as shown.

(2) Torque for the 16 bolts that hold the spider assemblies to the yokes and shaft ... 34 ± 4 N·m (25 ± 3 lb ft)

(3) Torque for nut ... 108 ± 7 N·m (80 ± 5 lb ft)

NOTE: Do not use lockwashers on the bolts that hold spider assemblies.
