Compression Brakes Should be Inspected Carefully During Repairs to the Cylinder Head and Valve Mechanism {1119}

Any top end overhaul or repair that requires top end parts replacement should be followed by a thorough inspection of the engine compression brake. Inspect the external parts and the internal parts of the compression brake for components that are worn or broken. Check for the proper operation of these components.
