Vibration Damper and Pulley - Remove
Start By:
- Remove the V-Belts. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "V-Belts - Remove and Install".

- Remove bolts (9). Remove vibration damper (6).
- Remove bolts (8).

Illustration 2 g00946319 - Hold a wood block against the inner hub of the crankshaft pulley as shown. Strike the wood block with a hammer in order to loosen the tapered rings.
- Carefully pry the crankshaft pulley away from the crankshaft. The weight of the crankshaft pulley is approximately
10 kg (22 lb) .Note: Do not use a puller tool to remove the crankshaft pulley from the crankshaft.
- Remove thrust block (2) and O-ring seal (1).
- Remove tapered ring (3), tapered ring (4), and spacer (5) from crankshaft pulley (7).
