Do Not Mix the 218-3589 Pistons with any Previously Produced Pistons on 3600 Engines
- Engine:
- 3606 (S/N: 8RB1-UP)
- 3608 (S/N: 6MC1-UP)
- 3612 (S/N: NZA1-UP; 9RC1-UP; 9FR1-UP; 2NZ1-UP)
- 3616 (S/N: 1PD1-UP; RMN1-UP; 1FN1-UP)
- 3608 (S/N: 6MC1-UP)
Do not mix the 218-3589 Pistons with any previously produced pistons.
The 218-3589 Piston is 3 kg (6.6 lb) heavier than any of the previous produced pistons. The mixing of 218-3589 Pistons with any of the previous produced pistons would cause engine failure, due to an imbalance of the engine components that reciprocate. When the 218-3589 Pistons are used, all of the pistons must be 218-3589 Pistons .
