Usage:
Many wire harnesses used in Caterpillar products have metal connectors on the ends. The connectors have a lock ring which holds the two halves of the connectors together.
At times, it is difficult to engage or release the lock ring because of its location. Also dirt, paint and temperature can make this job difficult.
The 6V6 Electrical Connector Pliers is available to engage or release the lock ring on the connectors. The 6V6 Electrical Connector Pliers have cushion jaws and will not damage the metal connector or lock ring.
