Introduction

This Special Instruction will guide the user through the activation of Software Enabled Attachments (SEA) for standardized Cat Production Measurement (CPM) machines.

1. Start Cat Electronic Technician (ET).

2. Select the ECM for "Machine Control" and click "OK".

3. Select "Configuration" from the "Service" Menu.

4. Expand "Production Measurement Settings".

5. Select "Production Measurement Feature Installation Status".

6. Select "Installed" from the drop-down menu and click "OK".

7. Click "Yes".

8. Click "OK".

9. Verify that the Display code is 231.

10. Select "https://fpsdma.cat.com/fpsdma/" link.

    Note: If you cannot access the generate password site, click "Save to File" to proceed with the following process later.

11. Enter "CWS ID" and "Password" and click "Login".

12. Click "No".

13. Click "OK".

14. Enter "Invoiced Dealer/Customer Code" and click "OK".

15. Click "OK".

    Note: Work order number is not required.

16. Write down or save "Password 1" and "Password 2". Both passwords will be entered into Cat Electronic Technician (ET).

    Note: The password can also be sent by E-mail if you click "Send E-mail" at the bottom of the window.

17. Close internet browser window and return to Cat Electronic Technician (ET)

18. Enter "Factory Password 1" and "Factory Password 2".

19. Click "OK".

20. Confirm the "Production Measurement Feature Installation Status" changed to "Installed".
