Fuel Shutoff Solenoid - Remove and Install

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Disconnect all electrical connections to the fuel shutoff solenoid before proceeding. Mark the connections or identify the connections for later installation.
- Remove bolts (2) that secure fuel shutoff solenoid (1) to the engine.

- Remove fuel shutoff solenoid (1) and the gasket from the engine.

- Put a new gasket and fuel shutoff solenoid (1) in position on the engine.

- Install bolts (2) that secure fuel shutoff solenoid (1) to the engine. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 9 N·m (80 lb in).
- Reconnect all electrical connections to the fuel shutoff solenoid before you operate the engine.
