- Open the left rear access door.

Illustration 3 g02301638 - Disconnect harness assembly (5), ground strap (6), and cable assembly (4).
- Use two people in order to remove electric starting motor (7). The weight of electric starting motor (7) is approximately
35 kg (77 lb) . Remove bolts (8) and electric starting motor (7).
- Install electric starting motor (7) in the reverse order of removal.
- Tighten ground strap (6) to a torque of
31 ± 4 N·m (23 ± 3 lb ft) . - Tighten cable assembly (4) to a torque of
31 ± 4 N·m (23 ± 3 lb ft) . - Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of bolts (2).
- Tighten ground strap (6) to a torque of
