Alternator - Remove and Install
- Turn battery disconnect switch (1) to the OFF position.
- Open the engine hood.

- Disconnect cable assembly (4), harness assembly (5), and cable assembly (6).

- Install alternator (8) in the reverse order of removal.
- Tighten nut (10) to a torque of
127 ± 10 N·m (94 ± 7 lb ft) . - Tighten cable assembly (6) to a torque of
18 ± 2 N·m (160 ± 18 lb in) . - Tighten cable assembly (4) to a torque of
4 ± 1 N·m (35 ± 9 lb in) .
- Tighten nut (10) to a torque of
