  1. Remove bolts (1). Remove bolts (3) from cover (4). Disconnect hose assembly (2).

    Right side of machine. Under panel that covers the hydraulic tank.

  2. Open right side access panel. Remove bolts (5). Remove cover (4).

  3. Remove bolts (6) and bolts (7).

  4. Remove bolt (8) in order to lean panel (9) back away from the combustion head.

    Note: The actual heated nozzle is part of the combustion head and is not serviceable, therefore the heated nozzle is not shown.

  5. Remove allen bolt (11) and clamp (10). Remove nozzle heater harness (12).

  6. Use Tooling (A) in order to remove O-ring seals (13) and (14) from nozzle heater harness (12). Discard the O-ring seals.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install nozzle heater harness (12) in the reverse order of removal.

      ------ WARNING! ------

      Use caution when you are using isopropyl alcohol. Avoid prolonged skin contact with isopropyl alcohol.

      Vapors may be harmful if inhaled. Use only in a well ventilated area. Do not smoke while using isopropyl alcohol.

      Isopropyl alcohol is flammable. Do not use near an open flame or near welding operations. Keep isopropyl alcohol away from heated surfaces exceeding 482°C (900°F).


      Note: This connection is an electrical connection and cannot be lubricated with a petroleum-based lubricant. Isopropyl alcohol is the only approved lubrication for this connection.

    1. Lubricate new O-ring seals (13) and (14) with Tooling (B) prior to installation.

    2. Tighten allen bolt (11) to the following torque 1.7 N·m (15 lb in).
