Refrigerant Compressor - Remove and Install

Usage:

324E JCZ

Removal Procedure

  1. Recover the air conditioner refrigerant from the air conditioner system. Refer to Service Manual, SENR5664, "Air Conditioning and Heating Systems with R-134a Refrigerant" for the correct procedure. Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Air Conditioning Tools" for the correct tools.

  1. Remove the belt from the compressor.

  1. Remove guard assembly (1) .

  1. Disconnect harness assembly (2) and remove clip (3) .

  1. Disconnect harness assembly (5) and remove bracket assembly (4) .

  1. Remove tube assemblies (6). Remove bolts (8) and refrigerant compressor (7) .

Installation Procedure

  1. Install refrigerant compressor (7) in reverse order.
