Section A-A

(1) Bearing

The bearing must be flush with the inside surface of the front housing.
Bore in bearing ... 9.615 ± 0.010 mm (0.3785 ± 0.0004 inch)
Diameter of shaft ... 9.503 ± 0.013 mm (0.3741 ± 0.0005 inch)

(2) Bearing

The bearing must be flush with the inside surface of the front housing.
Bore in bearing ... 18.974 ± 0.025 mm (0.7470 ± 0.0010 inch) (A) Protrusion of the shaft from the inside surface of the front housing ... 3.0 ± 0.2 mm (0.118 ± 0.008 inch)
Diameter of shaft ... 18.839 ± 0.013 mm (0.7417 ± 0.0005 inch)

(3) Bearing

The bearing must be flush with the inside surface of the front housing.
Bore in bearing ... 12.802 ± 0.127 mm (0.5040 ± 0.0050 inch)
Diameter of shaft ... 18.839 ± 0.013 mm (0.7417 ± 0.0005 inch)

(4) Nut

Apply 4C-4030 Thread Lock Compound to the nut's threads.

(5) Bushing

Bore in bushing ... 25.1142 ± 0.0191 mm (0.98875 ± 0.00075 inch)

(6) Sleeve

Outer diameter of sleeve ... 24.958 ± 0.013 mm (0.9826 ± 0.0005 inch)

(7) Cover

Use solvent to thoroughly clean the mating surfaces of the cover and of the governor drive's rear housing. Apply 4C-5300 Gasket Sealant to the joint and install the cover within ten minutes.

After the governor drive is assembled, fill the interior cavity with engine oil prior to the first start-up.
