For the procedure to inspect the flywheel, refer to Systems Operation/Testing and Adjusting.
Note: Before assembly, lubricate threads of the bolts with clean engine oil, molybdenum disulfide or graphite base lubricant.
(1) Torque for 12 bolts ... 270 ± 40 N·m (200 ± 30 lb ft)
(2) Install the flywheel ring gear with the chamfer on the teeth in the direction which is shown in Illustration 1.
Maximum temperature for installation of the ring gear ... 320 °C (608 °F)
