General Information
The troubleshooting procedures are intended to allow the cause of starting motor problems to be found. If the troubleshooting procedures do not determine the cause of the malfunction, the procedures of the Testing and Adjusting, "No Load - Test" section should be performed.
The following schematic shows an electrical schematic of a typical 12 Volt system for a starter. It is useful in performing the troubleshooting procedures.
