燃油输油泵位于发动机右侧。 发动机机油泵的下轴用于驱动齿轮式输油泵。 燃油输油泵将燃油从油箱中吸出，然后使其流过燃油粗滤器。 燃油将会流至燃油滤清器壳体。
燃油输油泵带有一个单向阀 (1) 和一个旁通阀 (2) 。 单向阀 (1) 位于泵头组件中。 在使用燃油充油泵时，单向阀可防止燃油通过输油泵进行回流。 旁通阀 (2) 位于泵的驱动端中的盖（螺塞）的后面。 旁通阀用于限制最高燃油压力。 如果燃油压力超过 860 kPa (125 psi)，则旁通阀将会把泵的出口侧与泵的进口接通。 这一过程有助于防止过高的压力损坏到燃油系统部件。
