Installation Procedure

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.
- Use Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to position aftercooler (13) on the machine. Install bolts (12). Remove Tooling (B) and the suitable lifting device.

- Install bolts (11). Connect fuel filter bases (10) .

- Install support assembly (9) .

- Position expansion tank (7) and the bracket. Install bolts (8) .

- Tighten four clamps (6). Tighten clamps (6) to a torque of 11 ± 1 N·m (97 ± 9 lb in).

- Install support assembly (5). Install handle (3). Install cable strap (4) .

- Use Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to position door (2). The weight of door (2) is approximately 62 kg (136 lb). Install door (2) .

- Install screens (1) .

End By: Install the enclosure for the cooling system. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Enclosure (Cooling System Package) - Remove".
