Removal Procedure

Start By:
- Remove the enclosure for the cooling system. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Enclosure (Cooling System Package) - Remove".
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.
Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, hoses, and tubes. This helps to prevent fluid loss and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.
- Remove screens (1) .

- Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to door (2). The weight of door (2) is approximately 62 kg (136 lb). Remove door (2) .

- Remove cable strap (4). Remove handle (3). Remove support assembly (5) .

- Loosen four clamps (6) .

- Remove bolts (8). Position expansion tank (7) and the bracket aside.

- Remove support assembly (9) .

- Disconnect fuel filter bases (10). Remove bolts (11) .

- Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to aftercooler (13). The weight of aftercooler (13) is approximately 34 kg (75 lb). Remove bolts (12). Remove aftercooler (13) .
