主泵是带有一个出口的单一主体。 主泵是一个可变排量活塞泵。 泵由泵壳体中的活塞筒 (5)、活塞 (6) 和旋转斜盘 (9) 组成。
液压油箱流出的油通过吸油端口 (3) 流进泵。 然后，油通过进口油道吸入先导泵。 先导泵直接连接到主泵。
轴 (10) 直接连接到发动机。 活塞筒 (5) 用花键连接至轴。 当轴旋转时，活塞筒随之旋转。 如此一来，活塞 (6)、滑靴 (8) 和固定器 (7) 旋转。
滑靴连接至活塞。 当轴旋转时，固定器 (7) 推动滑靴抵住旋转斜盘 (9)。 同时，旋转斜盘的倾斜面上的活塞 (6) 旋转。 随着滑靴沿倾斜面向上移动，油被压出活塞。 在此冲程结束时，滑靴与旋转斜盘的倾斜面保持一致。 此动作形成吸力，将油吸入活塞。
油通过吸油口 (3) 从液压油箱进入泵，然后油通过进口油道吸入配流盘 (4)。 被压出活塞 (6) 的油流向出口 (P)。 油流向主控制阀。
泵调节器根据机器操作所需的流量改变旋转斜盘的角度。 随着旋转斜盘倾斜表面的角度改变，活塞 (6) 的冲程改变，泵输出增加或减少。
