Bucket Linkage - Remove and Install

Start By:

Remove the bucket. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bucket - Remove and Install".

Position the stick onto suitable blocking.

Release the hydraulic system pressure. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic System Pressure - Release".

Use Tooling (A) in order to remove retaining rings (1) and (5) .

Remove link (4). Remove pin (3), pin (6), and the shims. Remove link and bearing assembly (2) .

Use Tooling (B) in order to remove bearings (7) and bearings (8) from link and bearing assembly (2) .

Lower the temperature of bearings (7) and bearings (8). Use Tooling (C) in order to install bearings (7) and bearings (8) to bearing assembly (2) .

Position link and bearing assembly (2) and link (4). Install pin (3), pin (6), and the shims.

Use Tooling (A) in order to install retaining rings (1) and (5) .

Remove the suitable blocking.

End By: Install the bucket. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bucket - Remove and Install".
