Start By:

  1. Remove the track motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Final Drive and Travel Motor - Remove".

  1. Remove plug (1) and the O-ring seal.

  1. Remove spring (4) and washer (3) .

  1. Remove spool (2) .

  1. Repeat Steps 1 through Steps 2 for the opposite side.

  1. Remove bolts (5) and head assembly (6) .

  1. Remove piston (10), retaining plate (11), and bearing (12) .

  1. Use a suitable press and Tooling (A) in order to remove retaining ring (14) .

  1. Remove washers (15) and spring (16) .

  1. Remove O-ring seal (17) and swashplate (18) .

  1. Remove balls (19), pistons (20), and the springs.

  1. Remove retaining ring (21) and cover (22) .

  1. Remove sun gear (24) and carrier (23) .

  1. Use Tooling (C) in order to remove retaining ring (25) .

  1. Remove washers (26), gears (27), and washers (28) .
